The city of Pigeon Forge is a family-friendly tourism destination for East Tennessee. We are right at the gateway to the Smoky Mountain National Park, the home of Dollywood and Dolly’s Splash Country, a center for Southern music of all kinds in our region of the state, and one of the best places to spend your vacation that you can find!

Dollywood – Of course, Pigeon Forge is well known for its Dollywood theme park, the Smokies entertainment capitol! Enjoy 4 of the South’s largest festivals in Pigeon Forge TN! Dollywood opens with the Annual Festival of Nations and is followed by a whole year’s worth of awesome events. Fall in the Smokies brings the Harvest Festival with Gospel music celebration, and then the Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival.

Dolly’s Splash Country – Don’t miss Dolly’s Splash County! Located next to Dollywood’s original theme park, Splash Country offers wave pools, water slides, a lazy river ride, wide river falls and a down-bound float trip. More than that is, of course, well in abundance, and it might take more than a full day to see and do all Splash Country has to offer.

The Island – The biggest city square in Pigeon Forge, The Island continues to grow and offer things you can’t find for miles around! Ride the huge Smoky Mountain Wheel, dine at Timberwoods Grill Margaritaville and other fantastic restaurants within walking distance, the big arcade, the synchronized fountain, weekly entertainment performances and much more. Definitely check this area out before going home!

 Tanger Outlet Mall – The biggest mall complex in Sevier County is large enough to have it’s own trolley service to save on walking. More than 100 stores await you at Tanger between Sevierville and Pigeon Forge with lots of brand name clothing, restaurants, eateries, shoes, a mini-golf course and fun stuff you can’t find for miles!

NASCAR Speed Park – If you’ve got fans of the raceway, bring them to Pigeon Forge where you can have a full day of fun at the NASCAR Speed Park! The park features eight go-kart tracks, ten rides, a three-story rock wall and two 18-hole minigolf courses which will please fans and visitors of all ages.

The Track – One of Pigeon Forge’s oldest family fun parks is still going strong at the Wears Valley junction in the downtown city. Go-karts, bumper-boats, arcade, miniature golf and one of the few places in town with an area set aside specifically for the kids. You’re also within walking distance to several of the malls, shopping areas and restaurants in Pigeon Forge as well, making The Track a perfect spot to meet up with family in the city.

Walden’s Landing – Pigeon Forge’s hottest city square is Walden’s Landing, featuring several restaurants (Smoky Mountain Brewery, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, Calhoun’s), many stores selling a wide variety of gifts and foods, the Firehouse Golf Course, The Forge Cinema and much more! Not to mention being within walking distance to the Christmas Village, several hotels and the Pigeon Forge Community Center, do you need another reason to visit?

Lazerport – A kid’s birthday party come true in downtown Pigeon Forge, Lazerport has just about everything your child, and likely yourself, could possibly want – black light mini-golf, large arcade, go-karts, ice cream parlor and, of course, the laser tag arena! The Old Mill – The historic center of downtown Pigeon Forge, the Old Mill is the Arts and Crafts community of the city with homemade pottery, foods, restaurants, toys, candy, gifts and much more. The Patriot Park is located just across the street and serves as the central hub of the Pigeon Forge trolley system.

The Comedy Barn – The funniest show in Pigeon Forge’s extensive theater industry, The Comedy Barn has been putting audiences in stitches for over 15 years and the show gets better with each passing year! If you’re a fan of psychic farm animals, southern-fried ventriloquists, and free seating for Kids under 11, this is where you want to go.

Titanic Museum – Who would’ve expected the Titanic would end its legendary journey here in Pigeon Forge? A major surprise hit if there ever was one, the Titanic Museum is not only the coolest museum in the city, it is a center for special events and seasonal activities in town too. Wonderworks – This upside down labyrinth of scientific insanity is no joke – you might not be the same person coming out as the one that went in! Friendly Falls Food & Stuff – Well worth the stop and a fantastic meeting place in the Smokies. Stay for a moment or stay for the afternoon! Get your souvenir photo taken or have lunch. Alamo Steakhouse – The premiere steakhouse in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Alamo specializes in EVERYTHING you came to the South to enjoy – Texas-sized steaks, ribs, chicken, burgers and even some seafood items to keep things interesting! See their full menu at

Bennetts BBQ – Having been in the BBQ business in Sevier County for over 20 years, Bennetts has racked up in impressive amount of awards for their food and service; winning “Best Ribs, Best BBQ” again as recently as 2012. Mama’s Farmhouse – Mama’s is a Southern-style restaurant with a twist and a mission – to recreate the Sunday Dinner experience that was intrinsic to the South in the old days. A comfortable family atmosphere welcomes you in and invites you and all yours to a table where you are fed rounds of fried chicken, country fried steak, mashed potatoes, soup or salad, biscuits, corn bread and much more, until you’re good and full! Big Daddy’s – There are many pizza places in Sevier County, but few give you the creative, gourmet options that Big Daddy’s in Pigeon Forge, Sevierville and Gatlinburg give you! The menu starts with “Tuscan Pizza”, “Cuban Pizza”, the “Big Kahuna”, “Porky Pie” and more! Desert pizzas and sandwiches are also available.

Texas Roadhouse – Hot rolls with cinnamon butter, seasoned fries with honey mustard, chicken, steaks, burgers and even a sample of free ribs if you’ve never been to a Texas Roadhouse before is just the start of what the restaurant can offer you! The Smoky Mountain Brewery – One of the area’s favorite hangouts for visitors and locals alike, the Brewery is part, well, brewery, and part restaurant specializing in ribs, wings, pizzas and half-priced pizzas on Tuesday nights, sandwiches, burgers, spaghetti and a ton of other items on the menu.

Kinkaku Japanese Steakhouse – Pigeon Forge has an awesome Japanese hibachi restaurant almost center of downtown with Kinkaku. An extremely talented chef will come and cook your dinner in front of you – your choice of chicken teriyaki, steak, shrimp, scallop, filet mignon, tuna, lobster and much more!

Bullfish Grill – The Bullfish means Steak and Seafood and then some, and Bullfish Grill has plenty of it to go around with Grand Aged Angus, filet mignon, rib eye steak, wild turkey marinated chops, jumbo gulf shrimp, swordfish, and many more just waiting for your next visit to Pigeon Forge!

Golden Corral – The largest and most varied buffet in Pigeon Forge, Golden Corral is where you want to eat when you don’t know what you want to eat, but want a lot of it. Buffet consists of its own bakery, salad station and even a personal chef to cut you your choice of steak. There’s pizza, bourbon street chicken, meatloaf, sweet potatoes, seafood salad and more!

Cheddars – Might be a bit presumptuous to call Cheddars in downtown Pigeon Forge the biggest restaurant to hit there in the past 5 years, but seeing how many visitors they pull in everyday and how awesome their dishes are, the truth wouldn’t be an inch off! The service, atmosphere, prices and most definitely the food are worth the hype at Cheddars, and you shouldn’t leave town without trying their Lemon Pepper Chicken, Hickory Smoked Baby Back Ribs, Baked Spasagna, Grilled Salmon or their Chicken and Waffles.
